What color to paint ceiling with orange walls?

I painted my living room walls orange and accents are of the earthy family. what color do i paint the ceiling?What color to paint ceiling with orange walls?
Well, you could go with the ';safe'; colors...white or beige.





Or you could use an old trick...mix some of your wall color into pure white paint so that the paint is about 1/3 to 1/4 wall color and the rest is white. Mix that very well and paint the ceiling that color.





If you do mix your own color like this, make sure you measure very carefully so that you can repeat the color exactly...since you'll probably need more before you're finished.

I agree that Taupe would look nice. It may seem a little ';creamsicle';, but perhaps a shade of white might brighten the room up and help eliminate a too dark earthy feel.
Taupe or black, or a shade of brown depending on the accents.
White or off white, but you should of painted the ceiling first.
