What color do you paint a ceiling? Is an off white like antique white good? Or bright white?

It depends on the wall color of the room. If you are painting your walls gold, red, or brown, an antique white would probably look better. Ceiling paint is available at Home Depot/Lowe's which is an off-white. It contains additives than will enable it to adhere better to ceiling. I imagine you will proably be able to(mix it) to get it in any color, but the off white seems most common.
It's a matter of personal taste. Some times paint the ceiling the same color as the walls.
I recommend ceiling white with 1 drop of black added at the paint store.I prefer Benjamin Moore paints myself.
