How much should a painter charge to paint ceiling & 4 walls of a 10 by 10 foot bedroom? fjw14?

$450.00 all day longHow much should a painter charge to paint ceiling %26amp; 4 walls of a 10 by 10 foot bedroom? fjw14?
Well it would depend on the owners if they would purchase all the supplies you needed to do the job! And if it was just painting the ceiling or spackling it! The spackling of the ceiling alone would be about 450 bucks including all the !

Then painting the walls and the paint costs, and it's different in many kinds and textures etc. I have done both and charged 700 for the whole job, including going to buy the paints, drop cloths and brushes and rollers and masking tape etc. If it's family and they buy everything needed to do the job, I charge a flat 400 bucks! How much should a painter charge to paint ceiling %26amp; 4 walls of a 10 by 10 foot bedroom? fjw14?
If you are uk based then I can tell you that most of us charge between 拢100-拢150.00 per day...Does the woodwork need to be done as well, take this into consideration when asking for quotes from tradesmen...
in mississippi , it would be bout $450 --labor and material-- appling 2 coats to the walls 1 coat to ceiling and 1 coat on the trim and doors . this encludes the closet-- if you remove whats in there yourself. also you would have to move any breakable items in the room yourself. any dry wall repair would be extra also
I'd say 450.00 is on the low side.I recently painted an office slightly bigger,10x12 walls only(2 coats, she supplied the paint) charged 800.00.Now I'm not a painter by trade but over the years I've done occasional side work. Most pple hate to paint cos of the time consuming prep, clean up etc, thats why most painters with plenty of work make plenty of $$.If the surface is in bad shape and needs a lot of spackle plus primer, plus trim, the price would be higher.
We had an est of $450 for a 12x10 in Ohio. I doubt there would be that much of a difference in of about ~80 sqft of wall space.
100 sq ft ceiling + [80 sq ft wall x 4] = 420 sq ft

Depending on number of doors and windows and ornate trim-work, anywhere from $100 to $1000 depending on where you live. I had a subcontractor give me a bid of $1200 for a 10 x 11 office room in a posh area of the Minneapolis/St Paul area.

The best answer for what you should do is get a few estimates from painters in your area, most will give you an answer over the phone if the walls don't need any repairs other than filling a few nail holes.
